A silver robin's nest

Photobucket

My friend Lyndsey made this beautiful robin's nest pendant for me with her very talented hands (and she's not even a jewelry maker by profession). The gift was a surprise and arrived in the mail this past Christmas Eve. It's so sweet and I simply love it.

  1. Wow, what a great job. I was thinking you must've meant Lyndsey Lyndsey, but I had to check as I never saw her mention a knack for jewelry making. I think she found a new calling! Enjoy your necklace. It is so pretty and I'm sure means so much to you.

  2. I think she's a woman of many talents. She made me a sweet pair of magenta bead earrings a year or so ago (for my birthday I think). And along with the silver nest, she sent me a seashell "jelly fish" ornament (and some additional shells so I could make one too) for our tree. Hmm...I think I owe a special handmade something.

  6. Robyn, sorry I am so late to comment here. I have not been on the computer as much as I would like. Sometimes life gets in the way! :D I am so happy that you like it, and I had meant to get it to you sooner. I appreciate your friendship and just wish we didn't live across the country from each other. Could you imagine if we got together in person...we'd talk all day and then some.

Thank you for all the kind words!

    XOXO
    Lyndsey
