Aromaleigh Makeup Challenge - Week 26

Back in April, one of the members of Aromaleigh Aficionadas (that's the name of the online forum for Aromaleigh Mineral Cosmetics) posted a fabulous idea called a Weekly Makeup Challenge. She started the challenge by selecting two Aromaleigh eyeshadow colors. Forum members then do a makeup look using those two colors (similar colors are allowed as substitutions and you can add as many additional colors as you like) and post it to the forum. The first person to post a look gets to choose the next week's challenge colors. It's a fun way to use colors you might not normally select for yourself.

We're on Week 26 and still going strong. This week's chosen colors were Burnt Roses (a rich chocolatey cherry frost with tiny deep green sparks) and Teddy Wisp (a mid-toned cocoa shade with soft smoke tones and sparks of copper and rose).

Here's what I did:

Eyes:

  • AL shadow base all over
  • Daphne eye lustre on lid and crease
  • Teddy Wisp gothic lolita on outer 1/2 of lid
  • Burnt Roses gothic lolita in crease, outer corner and lined wet on top lash line
  • Sunny Disposition eye plush on brow bone

Face:

  • Porcelaine oil-control primer powder in med/deep in t-zone
  • 2y voile
  • translucent ultra resolution finishing powder
  • pomegrante/candy pure rouge mix on cheeks

Lips:

  • AL lip balm, topped with Burnt Roses and then topped with a drug store pink frost lipstick
