Pottery Barn Bunny Knock-Off

Pottery Barn has some very cute bunny rabbits for sale right now.  It's nearly spring and Easter is just around the corner.  Instead of paying PB's prices, I decided to create my own using a thrift store plain white rabbit figurine.

1)  Plain white ceramic bunny gets two coats of Krylon spray paint in Espresso.  Let dry.
2)  Then one coat of Krylon spray paint in Heirloom White.  Before dry, I used a scrunched up piece of something (can't remember what...sack, paper towel...whatever was handy) and blotted some of the paint off.  Let dry.
3)  Use sandpaper to remove more of the white paint and bring out the detail.
4)  Lightly rubbed walnut ink (you could use waterbased dark wood stain) all over to give an aged feel.  Voila!
