Hi, I'm Robyn. Welcome to my nest. I'm a stay-at-home mom (Sierra 12 and Cameron 5) and I've been married for 15 years to my wonderful, hardworking, handsome husband Jason.

I started this blog a few years ago as a way to share with faraway family and friends, what our family was doing. However, over the past year, it evolved to be more a bit more than that. So here, I'll share my love of family, cooking, makeup, shopping and whatever else strikes my fancy.

My never ending, ever changing list of things I like (in no particular order) . . .

Gardening, reading, stealing kisses from my sleeping children, going on bike rides with my hubby and kids, fleur-de-lis, photography, big hoop earrings, flip-flops, sandals, high heels, makeup (in particular Aromaleigh Mineral Cosmetics), lighting candles for no special reason, cooking, yummy red wine, shrimp, filet mignon, pan fried trout, Crystal Louisana hot sauce, jalapenos, dark chocolate, McDonald's filet-o-fish sandwich, Trader Joe's Mediterranean hummus, sushi (California roll), pineapple, shopping for vintage treasures, carpooling, fresh flowers in a vase on my counter (which hubby brought home for me "just because"), Edward Cullen, Bath and Body Works Lavender Vanilla Tranquil Pillow Mist (I use it every night), recycling, tattoos (not just on me), Christmas morning, pampering my skin with natural oils, spring and fall, my blue Endless Summer hydrandea (which just turned purple this year - hmph), my David Austin roses, boneless Buffalo chicken wings, embellished tops (I can't resist a cute ruffle or little fabric rosette), True Blood, Hung, Entourage, Design Star, and Project Runway are my favorite shows right now. . .
